FCPS hosts Information Night for gifted, magnet programs

Fayette County Public Schools is hosting a Parent Information Night for those interested in learning more about the district's gifted and talented programs, magnet schools and the high schools' specialized academic programs.
The gathering will be Monday Aug. 23 at SCAPA Bluegrass, 400 Lafayette Parkway.
Elementary & middle school opportunities, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Elementary in-school gifted & talented services, Dixie Elementary, Spanish Immersion, SCAPA at Bluegrass, Ashland/Meadowthorpe/Tates Creek Elementary Accelerated Cluster, Winburn and Tates Creek Middle School Accelerated Cluster, Lexington Traditional Magnet School
High school offerings, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Paul Laurence Dunbar’s Math, Science and Technology Center, Henry Clay High’s Liberal Arts Academy, Lafayette’s School for Creative and Performing Arts
Specialized academic programs:
Bryan Station High’s Academy of Information Technology, Lafayette’s Pre-Engineering Program, JROTC programs, and
Tates Creek High’s International Baccalaureate Program
