Free flu vaccines offered to employees

Fayette County Public Schools will offer 600 free flu vaccines for its employees. These clinics will run:
- 6 to 8 a.m. Oct. 26 at “It’s About Kids” Support Services in the lower-level training room of the Ambrose building;
- 7 to 9 a.m. Oct. 28 in the Wellness Center at Bryan Station High School;
- 6 to 8 a.m. Oct. 29 in the cafeteria of Tates Creek High School.

The state Office of Employee Health Insurance also provided 250 free flu shots to FCPS employees who carry the state-sponsored health coverage. Waivers with the HRA were charged the $25 fee on their Visa access card.
These shots were administered at the Benefits Fair on Oct. 13 in the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School cafeteria.
