Ashland Elementary is among several Kentucky schools featured in a KET special report titled “More than Child’s Play: Why Physical Activity Matters.”

This program on Kentucky Educational Television explores childhood obesity and the community’s role in providing opportunities for kids to be more active. Catch it at 9 p.m. tonight (Jan. 25) on KET.

“More than Child’s Play: Why Physical Activity Matters,” part of KET’s Be Well Kentucky initiative, is funded in part by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky. Other schools spotlighted in tonight's report are Campbell Ridge Elementary in Northern Kentucky, Hopkins Elementary in Somerset, Stanford Elementary and Wellington Elementary in Louisville.
