Eastside Technical Center students will work alongside some of Lexington’s top technicians at the 21st annual Bluegrass Car Care Clinic, which offers free inspections.

The first-come, first-serve inspections begin at 9 a.m. Saturday Oct. 23 at the school, at 2208 Liberty Road next to the district bus garage.

Students – in partnership with the Professional Master Technicians Association – will check the basics such as the oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, windshield wiper fluid, wiper blades, hoses, vacuum lines, electrical wires, tire pressure, tread depth, windows and the vehicle’s body. A special lane for emissions testing will also be open.

After the inspection, drivers can talk with the technicians about their findings and suggestions.
