Student artwork submitted for consideration in the next FCPS calendar is on display April 1-29 at The Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free. The Lyric is at 300 E. Third St. (Third at Elm Tree Lane).

The artwork will be judged this month, and the school district will host evening receptions for participants and their families. The 14 winners will be featured in the 2011-2012 family handbook and calendar, which is distributed the first week of school.
