Safety comes first -- especially in hazardous weather

Students' safety is a top priority in Fayette County Public Schools, particularly on snowy or icy days.
Watch for the latest here on the FCPS home page, through our Facebook and Twitter updates, and on Channel 13 and other local media outlets.
Every family needs to be prepared in case weather conditions prompt the district to alter school routines or schedules. It's a good idea to decide in advance how best to keep abreast of changes, how to line up child care and how to adjust if school start times are delayed or students are released early.
Also, please make sure schools have updated phone numbers for families as well as students' emergency contacts.
