More than 3,500 students from across Kentucky competed in the Student Technology Leadership Program’s 2010 state showcase. The event, which was May 11 at Rupp Arena, gave students a chance to present their projects to people outside their classrooms.
Their work was judged on educational value, value to the entire school/community and entrepreneurship. High-quality products in animation, digital citizenship, art, music, video and writing were presented. Students also competed in presentations and live performances in multiple technology categories.
STLP is a project-based learning program that empowers students in all grade levels to use technology to learn and achieve. Established in 1994, the program is open to all students.
