Three employees in Fayette County Public Schools have garnered honors from the Kentucky School Nutrition Association.

Marty Flynn, coordinator in the district’s Child Nutrition office, was named Administrator of the Year. Connie Whitaker, child nutrition manager at Athens-Chilesburg Elementary, was selected Manager and Team of the Year. And Mildred Stakelin, interim child nutrition manager at Stonewall Elementary, was tapped as Employee of the Year.

“These ladies are true advocates for Fayette County kids and child nutrition,” said department director Michelle Coker.

The three will receive their awards at the association’s June 29 banquet in Covington.
