After last week’s wintry blast, as of Jan. 12, students in the Fayette County Public Schools have to make up two school days missed because of snow.

Feb. 12 and March 5 will now be regular school days to make up for the Jan. 7-8 cancellations. 

The district’s original academic calendar called for students to be off on those Fridays but designated them as “possible weather make-up days.” Students and staff are now expected to be in school on Feb. 12 and March 5.

Other possible weather make-up days include May 27-28, June 1-4 and June 7-11.
