All-state choirs with dozens of young singers from grades 5-6 and 7-9 will present a concert at 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Singletary Center for the Arts. Admission is $1.

These youngsters will gather and rehearse during the Kentucky chapter of the American Choral Directors Association’s fall convocation Nov. 6-7 in Lexington.

The SATB* choir will be directed by Chris Aspaas of St. Olaf College in Minnesota, the SSA choir by Eva Floyd of Western Kentucky University and the youngest group by Ruth Dwyer of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir.
