KMEA selects dozens for honor choirs

FCPS students chosen for honor choirs by the Kentucky Music Educators Association will perform Feb. 4 in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville during the association’s in-service/professional development conference.

The Kentucky Junior High Chorus is composed of the Kentucky Junior High Mixed Chorus and the Kentucky Junior High Treble Chorus. Each group has about 200 seventh-, eighth- and ninth-grade students who are selected by audition from across the state.

Congratulations to these outstanding young singers from Fayette County Public Schools.
