BSHS Key Club snares four awards

Bryan Station High School picked up four awards at the annual Kentucky-Tennessee District of Key Club International convention:

  • Cyrus Saffari, as Most Outstanding Key Clubber in Division 10-11;
  • Outstanding Service, bronze-level fundraising ($150-$499 category) for the Ronald McDonald House Charities;
  • 3rd place for Club Service, for the monthly Ronald McDonald House dinners;
  • 3rd place in the Club Video Contest, with an entry created by Samuel Stucky.

About a dozen Bryan Station students attended the convention March 19-20 in Franklin, Tenn., including Satchel Fowler, Cole Guthrie, Kayswanna McCoy, Stephen Parsons, Cyrus Saffari, Rachel Swanson, Larkin Walker, Christopher Walters, Ariel Watson, Nate White and Arion Wright.

“As always, they represented Bryan Station very well, and I am very proud to be their advisor,” said Brandy Jones, a school social worker.
