Every fall, high school musicians across Kentucky audition for the All-State Orchestra. They practice advanced scales and excerpts from professional-level works, and then they have four minutes to showcase all they have learned through years of training.

The auditions are taped and shipped to out-of-state professional musicians for judging. Students who are chosen for this honor then gather in Louisville for three days in February to work with nationally recognized conductors. After some incredibly intensive rehearsals, they put on a performance that amazes and delights audiences.

Fayette County Public Schools congratulates these students on their selection:
