The Kentucky Technology Student Association’s recent state conference featured impressive displays and creative competition in everything from dragster design to film to fashion.
The TSA Scholarship recipient was Andrew Barnott and Distinquished Student was Sara Trout, both from Tates Creek High School. Also, Lauren Shields of Southern Middle was voted in as the 2009-10 state secretary.
TSA fosters personal growth, leadership and opportunities in technology, innovation, design and engineering. Members integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related programs.
The state TSA competition was in Louisville in mid-March.
The national conference is in Denver this summer. See www.tsaweb.org/ for more details.
