About three dozen students from Eastside and Southside technical centers participated in the SkillsUSA state conference April 7-10 in Louisville.
Members conducted business for the Kentucky chapter, met with business and industry representatives, heard from government officials and had fun, too. More than 1,000 students competed in nearly 100 occupational and leadership skill areas. All first-place winners will advance to the national competition in June in Kansas City.
