Lexmark awards scholarships to 11 seniors

Eleven seniors in Fayette County Public Schools have received awards through the Lexmark Academic Scholarship Program. The awards are $2,000 a year and are renewable for up to four years as long as the student maintains a minimum 2.5 GPA. 

Winners were chosen on the basis of aptitude for college by test scores, GPA, secondary school achievement, leadership qualities, character, extracurricular activities and the recommendations of high school administrators. Congratulations to these students: 

  • From Henry Clay High: Matt Bojanowski, Margaret LaFalce and Daniel Richey.
  • From Lafayette High: Tyler Green.
  • From Paul Laurence Dunbar High: Ellidia Guan, Michael Johnson, Kevin Overall, Andrew Sevigny, Rahul Sharma, Shuang Xu and Mimi Yang.
