Dozens of kids from Fayette County Public Schools have been selected for the Kentucky Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association’s honors choirs, made up of students in grades 5-6 and 7-9.

The three all-state choirs will gather during the KYACDA’s fall convocation Oct. 31 here in Lexington and will present a public concert at 3 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Singletary Center for the Arts at the University of Kentucky. Admission is $1.

The SATB Choir will be directed by Henry Leck of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, the SSA Choir by Sandy Holland of the Charlotte (NC) Children’s Choir, and the 5/6 Choir by Jill Campbell of the Lexington (KY) Children’s Choir.
