Students from Eastside Technical Center were among the nearly two dozen chapters competing this week in the Bluegrass FFA Regional Quiz Bowl, held at Clark County High School.

The competition included breed, equipment and feed identification and a series of questions about each particular industry. Ten teams squared off in each event except for aquaculture, which had about half that number.

Here’s how Eastside students fared:

Aquaculture Bowl – 2^nd place: Donielle Johnson, team high and regional 3^rd place; Justin Brindley; Ben Martin; Grace Connelley.

Beef Bowl – 3^rd place: Kristen Arvin, team high; Ben Martin; Aimee Morgan; Justin Brindley.

Small Animal Bowl – 4^th place: Emma Ellis, team high; Donielle Johnson; Abi Ross; Chelsea Hardin.

Equine Bowl – 5^th place: Alyss Zimmerman, team high; Kristen Arvin; Grace Connelley; Erin Stephens.
