Students in Fayette County Public Schools next month will make up a school day missed because of wintry weather in December.

Friday Feb. 13 will now be a regular school day. The district’s original academic calendar called for students to be off that day, but designated it as a possible weather make-up day. Because snow and ice closed schools Dec. 16, students and staff are expected to be in school on Feb. 13.

Also, since there is no primary election this spring, Tuesday May 19 will be a weather make-up day if needed. The original school calendar indicated students would be off that day.
