A dozen Eastside Technical Center students competed at Bluegrass Region FFA Day, hosted by the University of Kentucky’s Agriculture Department on March 17. Among the top performers:

• Taryn Bunch, 1^st place, Fruit and Vegetable Impromptu, Paul Laurence Dunbar High School
• Daniel Patton, 1^st place, Greenhouse Impromptu, Bryan Station High School
• Kristen Arvin, 2^nd place, Prepared Public Speaking, Paul Laurence Dunbar High School
• Donielle Johnson, 2^nd place, Sheep Impromptu, Henry Clay High School
  

These students qualify to compete at the state FFA convention in June.
