The Kentucky Association for Gifted Education has presented the Michael Caudill Educator Award to Mary Ann Chamberlain of Fayette County Public Schools for her exceptional leadership, service and advocacy in support of the state’s gifted and talented children.
Chamberlain is a gifted and talented resource teacher serving students at Tates Creek Elementary School and a curriculum and instruction coach for the 10 elementary QUEST Accelerated Cluster teachers.
“This is truly a well-deserved honor for Dr. Chamberlain. She has made a significant difference in the lives of so many students, parents and colleagues these past 29 years,” said Connie D. Jones, president of the Kentucky Association for Gifted Education.
Chamberlain received the award Feb. 9 at the Lexington Marriott Griffin Gate Resort during the 29th annual KAGE conference.
