Fourteen pieces of art selected for calendar

Art teachers turned in nearly 200 entries for the Fayette County Public Schools annual calendar art contest. Volunteers from the arts community judged the submissions, and the winners were unveiled April 23 at ArtsPlace.
The 2009-2010 district calendar and family handbook will feature the artwork of these 14 students:
