Awesome projects and great team events highlighted the Kentucky Technology Student Association’s state conference, where kids competed in such categories as digital photography and design animation.
Also at the conference, the 2008-2009 state officers were elected. They include Kathryn Hays (Paul Laurence Dunbar), president; Andrew Barnott (Tates Creek), vice president; Sara Trout (Tates Creek), secretary; and Lauren Shields (Southern Middle School), sergeant at arms.
The state TSA conference, whose theme was “Unlocking the Future,” was March 20-22 in Louisville. The national TSA conference is June 28-July 2 in Orlando, Fla.
