Tech students honored for achievement

Sixteen Fayette County students who attend the two technical centers have received the High Schools That Work Award of Educational Achievement. This award goes to seniors who have exceeded SREB goals in reading, math and science and have demonstrated readiness for employment.
 
Congratulations to these students, who will receive certificates from the Southern Regional Education Board.
 
At Eastside Technical Center: Mary Evans of Bryan Station High School and Steven Gray and Fred Weckerling of Paul Laurence Dunbar High.
 
At Southside Technical Center: Tiffany Patrick and Caleb Zitter of Bryan Station; Christopher McDonald and Balinda Weathers of Henry Clay; Martha Meulendyke of Lafayette High; Jennifer Sparks of Tates Creek; Mahesh Butti, Phillip Hans, Christopher Marion, Martha Ontiveros, Austin Rutledge, Aja Palmer and Stephanie White, all of Paul Laurence Dunbar High.
