Spanish students do well on national exam

    Henry Clay High School students of Mary Haley and Elizabeth Noble recently won honors based on their scores on the National Spanish Exam.
    Earning medals or ribbons indicating a state top 10 score were Elizabeth Muwanga, Level 2; April Dodd and Maggie LaFalce, Level 3; Julia Hunter, Katie Yewell, Graham Marks and Jennifer O’Brien, Level IV; Scooter Stein, with outside experience; and Macarena Toro, bilingual. 
    Others also received certificates for their strong performance -- Level 2: Jessica Brewer, William Shepherd, Neha Ray, Anna Hansen, Chris Karounos and Sarah Kashar; Level 3: Sarah Bugg, Faina Matveeva, Corban Coffman and Kristen Andres; Level 4: Cal Staben, Hannah Soard, Lilian Rogers, Elina Matveeva, Rachel Looff, Sarah Atkins, Leigh Allin, Carrie Shirley, Alexandria Ingram, Stella Strohmeier, Kimberly Ferguson, Matt Zarth, Sarah Looff, Catherine Mannon, Chandni Shah and Alec Dutch.
   The National Spanish Exam is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.
