Henry Clay’s academic team fares well

An academic team from Henry Clay High School scored highest of any Kentucky group in the spring Knowledge Master Open.
The team answered 188 of 200 questions correctly, earning 1,676 points. With 703 schools from around the world competing, Henry Clay notched the 17th-highest score.
The Henry Clay team included Naveed Bakh, Matt Bojanowski, Stephen Fritz, Jared Gibson, Preston Goulson, Bo Hur, Paul Hur, Chris Jackovitch and Dan Richey.
Eleven more Kentucky schools participated, though no others from Fayette County.
The Knowledge Master Open is a computer-based semiannual academic competition in which teams of students earn points by answering multiple-choice questions quickly and accurately. The questions cover 15 subject areas, from world history and recent events to economics, geography and fine arts.
