Trevor McNary of Winburn Middle School paced five FCPS winners in the National History Day state contest. He took second place for his documentary “Separate but Unequal” and also received the African-American History Award.
Several of our middle schoolers competed April 26 at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort. The students presented individual or group projects based “conflict and compromise,” this year’s theme.
