Fourteen Eastside Technical Center students have achieved A+ certification, which enables computer technology employers to validate the skills of potential hires.

Congratulations to David Basham, Nathaniel Brake, Jack Carter, Sean Dawson, Henry Fugate, Corey Russell, Alex Spaulding, Mason Stappe, Julian Stone, Peter Webb, Jayce Higgins, David McKenney, Javier Moreno and Brian Weinberger.

The A+ certification involves two separate exams, both sponsored by the Computer Technology Industry Association. It serves as the entry-level benchmark for desktop support engineers entering the workforce. Colleges grant credits to students who have the certification, employers hire based on it, and customers look for it when deciding who will repair their machines.
