Dunbar is No. 1 in state Governor's Cup

Congratulations to Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, which brought home top honors in the state Governor’s Cup academic competition.
Dunbar also won the Quick Recall finals, led by team members Papa Chakravarthy, Amit Chakraborty, Tian Yang and Ailin Shen.
In the individual assessments, Dunbar’s Connie Wu placed first in math, and Victor Yang was first in language arts.
Sadik Shahidain of LTMS won first place in math in the middle school competition.
More than 2,400 students and nearly 450 middle and high schools from across Kentucky participated in the March 15-17 state finals in Louisville. The event included team Quick Recall and Future Problem Solving as well as individual written assessments in six subject areas.
