Paul Laurence Dunbar High School journalism students recently had two of their projects broadcast on WUKY 91.3 radio. The projects, which explored teens and politics and the impact technology - specifically social networking sites like MySpace - has on teens was a collaboration between the students and the radio station.
“I am so proud of the hard work both classes put into these programs,” said Paul Laurence Dunbar journalism teacher Wendy Turner. “They collected recorded interviews and compiled data; they wrote, edited, and recorded narration; and they worked with cutting edge audio editing software to produce the program. It was an amazing experience.”
