Construction workers will begin placing the Bryan Station High School Coat of Arms into the entranceway floor of the new building on Wednesday, September 6 beginning at 8 a.m. The new building is located next to the current facility on 1866 Edgeworth Drive.

The 1,800 pound, six foot by six foot coat of arms was removed from the entranceway floor of the old building and was a gift from the Class of 1967, 1968 and 1970. The crest is emblazoned with a torch, clasped hands, a key and feather quill, a rifle and tomahawk, and the words, “Animo et Fide,” which means courage and faith.

The new Bryan Station High School will open in January 2007.
