Please join us for a press conference on August 9, 2006, at 10:00 am, in support of the "Ready, Set Go!" Lexington Neighborhood Back-to-School Rallies, at the W.T. Young Campus Center at 300 N. Broadway (4th and Broadway).

The press conference will introduce the major Ready Set Go! sponsors and nine neighborhood coalitions made up of community and grassroot organizations that have come together to host the back-to-school rallies across Lexington.

Immediately following the press conference, our neighborhood partners and invited guests will begin the process of stuffing 4,000 backpacks with school supplies that will be distributed to children on August 12th. You are invited to join us in stuffing the backpacks anytime between 10 am and 8 p.m at your convenience.
