Two members of the Radio City Rockettes stopped by SCAPA Bluegrass for a quick lesson on their famous kick line.

A pair of Radio City Rockettes wowed young dance majors in a mid-week visit to SCAPA Bluegrass.
In two classes, they shared a little of what it’s like to audition and dance professionally and taught the kids their famous eye-high kick line.
The New York City-based Rockettes are traveling around to promote this year’s performance of “A Country Christmas” at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville.
“The kids were just so excited! They really got to see what it’s like to be a Rockette and realized it’s an option for them,” said dance teacher Rebecca Stephenson, who noted that two former SCAPA students went on to become Rockettes.
