For general information about Gifted and Talented programs, feel free to contact our staff at the district office: Carol Hiler, Associate Director Anna Richardson, Program Assistant Applying for placement: The 2008 application process will open on September 1, 2007 and end on October 15, 2007 for the 2008-2009 school year. Gifted / Talented ProgramsSCAPA at LafayetteSchool for Creative and Performing Arts at Lafayette is a grades 9-12 continuation magnet special program designed for students identified in creativity and visual/performing arts which includes art, music, dance, drama and creativity in writing. School for Creative and Performing Arts at Bluegrass students are given first placement priority. Eligibility to the School for Creative and Performing Arts at Lafayette High School program requires a minimum of three (3) pieces of supporting documentation. All students who have a complete application file (application, at least one recommendation, and parent questionnaire) are scheduled for an audition in the arts area of their choosing. Placements are then made according to space availability at the school and rank order by audition results in each arts area. Contact information
