Gifted / Talented Programs

Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay

The Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay is a grades 9-12 continuation gifted/talented program. The Liberal Arts Academy challenges its students in all disciplines with required Academy and AP courses that are specifically designed or adapted for the Gifted and Talented population.

Eligibility to the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay Accelerated Cluster program requires a minimum of three (3) pieces of supporting documentation. Middle school accelerated cluster students with satisfactory progress are given priority placement. A minimum score of 96th percentile total/partial battery score on a nationally normed standardized test of achievement AND a minimum score of 96th percentile by age on a nationally normed full scale test of mental ability. A district committee reviews all documentation for students to determine identification. Placements are then made according to space availability at the school and rank order by test scores.
