Dixie Elementary Individually Prescribed Education

The mission of Dixie Elementary is to determine the individual needs of each student and provide a school environment which affords each child an opportunity to appreciate their uniqueness, realize their full potential, develop and learn according to their own style and ability and become a responsible, successful learner and citizen.

The prescribed education allows for plans and objectives to be develop, taking into account the physical, social, emotional and academic development of each child. The child is valued as a unique individual that differs from others in his or her capabilities, interest and rate of physicals mental emotional and social growth. Students are given responsibilities, choice and opportunities to use self-discipline within a controlled environment. Accommodations for the different learning styles of children are made to the individual students at Dixie.

Entrance is determined by the lottery process.
