Certified positions require, by law, a state issued Teaching Certificate. These positions include: Teacher, Principal, Librarian, Guidance Counselor, Superintendent, School Psychologist, Speech Therapist, Dean of Students

Apply NOW for a CLASSIFIED position

Classified positions do not require a state issued Teaching Certificate. There are two types of Classified positions - hourly and salaried. Hourly positions include: Custodial, Food Service, Instructional Assistant, Interpreter for the Deaf, Law Enforcement, Maintenance, Plant Operations, Purchasing, Secretary/Clerical, Technology, Transportation, or Warehouse. Salaried positions include: Occupational or Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Employment Training Specialist, Family Resource Center Coordinator, Administrative positions not requiring a teaching certificate. In general, salaried positions require a minimum education level of a Bachelor's degree.

Substitute Teachers - minimum requirements are 64 college credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.5

Substitute Instructional Assistants, Substitute Bus Drivers, Substitute Food Service Workers - minimum educational requirement High School Diploma or GED certificate; Commercial Drivers License Training for Bus Driver applicants will be provided.
