We encourage families to get involved in their children's education. Family and community involvement can have a powerful and positive impact on student outcomes.

One way to get involved is through volunteering. Check with your child's school for more details and specific volunteer opportunities. Most school PTA’s have a volunteer interest form to fill out.

All volunteers in Fayette County Public Schools and across the state must agree to a background check. You can apply online. The Human Resources office monitors the process and keeps lists of approved volunteers; call (859) 381-4740 to follow up.
