We encourage people to be engaged in their children's education. Family and community involvement can have a powerful and positive impact on student outcomes.

One way to help is through volunteering. Check with your child's school for more details and specific opportunities. Most school PTA's have a volunteer interest form to fill out.

All volunteers in Fayette County Public Schools and across the state must agree to a background check. The Human Resources office monitors the process and keeps lists of approved volunteers; call (859) 381-4740 to follow up.
