Purpose
To work in partnership with FCPS to support, encourage, and assist schools in engaging all parents and families in education as a critical component of reaching high levels of student achievement.
Who we are, how we got started, and what we did
Every child deserves a good education and research shows that when parents and families are involved, students and schools are more successful. A committee of parents, educators and citizens began working in the fall of 2000 to identify ways the school district could support and encourage parents and families to become more involved as partners in improving student achievement.
