Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High
The Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High is a grades 9-12 continuation program that challenges its students in all disciplines with:
- Acceleration
- Differentiation
- Academy seminars
- Academic mentoring
- Independent study
- Foreign language
- Community service
Admission
Eligibility requires a minimum of three pieces of supporting documentation, including a minimum score of 96th percentile total/partial battery score on a nationally normed standardized test of achievement and a minimum score of 96th percentile by age on a nationally normed full scale test of mental ability.
A district committee reviews all documentation. Placements are then made according to space availability at the school and rank order by test scores. Middle school accelerated cluster students with satisfactory progress are given priority placement.
