Career and Technical Education
What we do:
Our office coordinates all technical programs throughout the district for grades 6-12, including Southside and Eastside technical centers and Locust Trace AgriScience Farm. We handle career assessments within the school and supervise work-based learning, which includes co-op, mentoring, job shadowing and clinical experiences. This involves serving as a liaison between the school and the business community, relating school curriculum to technical opportunities, and developing partnerships for schools and businesses and future employment possibilities.
How to find us:
Our office is in room 206 of "It's About Kids" Support Services, 701 E. Main St., Lexington KY 40502. The main phone number is (859) 381-4241, and the fax number is (859) 381-4798.
