Previous experiences as an artist-in-residence in a variety of classroom settings including work with 4th & 5th graders, Middle & H.S. students. The focus and purpose of the residency is to create individual and/or group tapestries, exploring the Appalachian rag rug tradition. Each session involves a hands on approach with all the attendant learning, including a cultural awareness relevant to weaving. |
