| What We Offer |
Changing exhibitions of decorative art from around the world, including
furniture, textiles, metal work, and ceramics. The Permanent Collection
includes George Headley’s Jewel Room, Library, and Shell Grotto, the
Marylou Whitney Estate Dollhouses, and collections of Asian textiles and
ceramics, early Kentucky silver, and decorative masks from around the world. |

Located on historic Old Frankfort Pike in the middle of Central Kentucky’s
horse country, only 6 miles from downtown Lexington. |

Pre-visit Materials, On-Site Materials, and Post-Visit Lesson Plans. |
| KERA Alignment |
KERA curriculum connections are available with each exhibition and cover
math, science, history, reading and writing. Please visit our Web
site at for information about the current exhibitions. |
| Availability |
Open February-December, Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm or Saturday-Sunday 12pm-5pm.
$7 for adults, $5 for seniors 62 and above, $5 for students, free for children
5 and under. Group Discounts are available with 3 weeks notice. |

The Museum sponsors school and group tours, family activities, workshops,
and community events to further its mission to enrich the life of the whole
community by fostering knowledge, enjoyment, and appreciation of the decorative
arts. |
