Making Adobe Acrobat work

Problem: You know you have Adobe Acrobat installed, but when you attempt to open a PDF file you get the following dialog:

Solution: Open My Computer from the desktop. From the menu choose Tools, Folder Options, then File Types. You will see the following:

Scroll through the list of registered file types until you find "PDF." Click the Change button, then choose Adobe Acrobat from the list of programs.
