The Career and Technical Education office coordinates all technical programs throughout the Fayette County Public School System for grades 6-12. We coordinate career assessments within the school and supervise work-based learning that includes co-op, mentoring, shadowing, and clinical experiences. This entails serving as a community liaison between the school and the business community relating school curriculum to technical opportunities and developing partnerships for schools and businesses and future employment possibilities.

EBCE bridges the gap between study and experience using the classroom and the community to provide hands-on career decisions. Both specialists have had at least 1,000 contacts with the school coordinators this year. More information...
