SBDM Super Council

In Super Council, representatives from every SBDM Council in the district assemble to enhance their knowledge and information base through networking and exposure to the most current information from the Kentucky Department of Education and the school district.

Each council is requested to send a minimum of two members (we strongly recommend one or more members be parents). The Super Council sessions give families an opportunity to learn from teachers, parents, principals, the superintendent and district liaison about about how councils operate.

Additionally, representatives will report and share information with their respective councils. They also might be asked by their councils to bring information, questions and concerns to Super Council.

The Super Council meetings, which include all levels (elementary, middle and high), start at 6 p.m. at "It's About Kids" Support Services, 701 E. Main St.

2011-2012 meetings:
  • Sept. 15
  • Dec. 8
  • March 15
