Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
As an employee of Fayette County Public Schools, you and your spouse and dependents have access to free EAP services provided as a benefit to you by FCPS. Those services include being able to talk confidentially with a counselor about some of the "problems of daily living" that get to most of us at one time or another. Things like...
| Burnout | Domestic violence | Relationship issues |
| Child behavior problems | Grief and loss | Stress |
| Emotional problems | School problems | Worry about finances |
| Divorce | Marital problems | Caring for elderly |
| Drug/alcohol problems | Parenting issues | Blended families |
The professional staff at the Behavioral Medicine Network is trained and certified to help you find practical solutions for these real problems. And no one will know you have used the program unless you tell them. We will not share any information with your employer without your signed authorization.
To access your EAP services
Simply call one of the telephone numbers listed in the blue box, identify yourself as an employee (or spouse or dependent of an employee) of FCPS and say that you would like an EAP appointment. You will be asked a few questions about why you are calling so that you can be matched with the most appropriate counselor, and you will be given an appointment date and time. Five free sessions per issue (unlimited issues) are available to you and your family every year.
