How can I tell which version of Internet Explorer or Netscape I am using?

From either browser, click on the Help menu, then select About (Internet Explorer or Navigator). The next dialog box you see will tell you which version you have. You must have Internet Explorer version 4.55 or higher or Netscape Navigator version 4.7 or higher to use the online application.

Is my information confidential?

FCPS is a public entity. Your application is considered a public document and is subject to disclosure, upon request, whether you apply with a paper document or through the online process. Our applicant files are available to principals when they have open positions.

What documents should I send to FCPS after completing the online application?

No documents are needed at this time. Once hired, you will be notified of all required documents.

I am from out of state. Whom do I contact for information concerning obtaining teacher certification?

Call the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board at (888) 598-7667 to find out the requirements needed to obtain a Kentucky certificate. Out-of-state forms are also available at www.kyepsb.net.

I have an application on file. Can I submit a letter of interest and resume for a posted position?

If the advertisement specifies that a resume and/or letter of interest is necessary for the position, you should mail those appropriate materials to the HR employee as specified in the ad. This is in addition to your online application, and you should mention in your letter of interest that you have applied online. If there is a specific position and a school location posted that you are interested in, you will find a name and email link where you can submit a letter of interest and resume directly to the contact person for the specific vacancy.

I was offered a conditional contract by a human resources representative at a university recruitment job fair. What do I need to do?

Complete and submit an online application, and confirm that it was received.
