Instructions for administrative applications
Thank you for your interest in Fayette County Public Schools. We want the application process to be a positive experience for you. Please take a few moments to review these instructions before completing your application.
To complete the application you must be using Netscape 4.7 or higher or MS Internet Explorer 4.55 or higher. We suggest an upgrade to the newest version of MS Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
Be sure to allow sufficient time to complete the application process, usually between 30-40 minutes. You will be asked for the following specific information to complete the application. Have the information available for your reference:
- Areas of Certification to include: Type, Level, Description Month & Year of Issue and Month and Year of Expiration, if applicable
- College/Universities attended, Graduation Dates, Degrees Earned and Major
- To and From dates, Organization, Supervisor's name and contact phone number for: Student Teaching, Teaching Experience, and Non-Teacher Experience
- Reference Information (minimum of 3 professional) to include: Name, Address , Phone Number
- Release of Records Request to include driver's license number and state of issuance
When you have completed a page, click on the CONTINUE button at the bottom of the page to save your information and move to the next page. Should you need to stop your application process, the information you have entered onto all completed pages will be saved and retrievable with your proper ID and password.
We recommend that you print your application by clicking on 'Review & Print' on the side menu.
You will receive two emails from FCPS. The first will arrive after you input and verify your email address. The second email will follow your completed application. This will confirm that Human Resources has received your application.
If you are applying for a Support Services position that requires a resume or other documents, be sure to also mail those documents to the appropriate person as related in the position advertisement.
